Javed: How Pak Govt Fools Public

by Tom Drary on August 29, 2010

Javed Chaudhry – host of Kal Tak program in Pakistan – describes the perennial trick of successive Pakistani governments for fooling the masses: (a) use “Inshallah” (ie. “God Willing”) invocation with every promise, and/or (b) make only declarative policy statements. By doing so, the government and its representatives conveniently absolve themselves from any responsibility to fulfill their promises as well as postpone policy implementation to an unknown future date. Kashif Khan Borther!
Why we always blame Govt.why dont we think
that we are the problem?
Why we elect these Terrorist Politicians again and again.(Nawaz Zardari etc) all are the real terrorists. Each of them are millionaire billionaire. They blame each other.
The public is sleeping that’s why our enemies
are successful.
We are waiting for a miracle from Allah. But Allah will never help us until we help our self.

In my opinion, it is the responsibility of every government – whether elected or dictatorial – to look after the welfare of its citizens. The only exception to this truth is an occupation or colonial govt. Sadly, since creation of Pakistan, successive govts have failed spectacularly to cater to even the most basic needs of the populace. As per Javed, the ruling elite gets away with its irresponsibility via invocation of divine will or a vague future promise. There is no accountability.
